“We are all broken, that is how the light gets in.“ Ernest Hemingway
My name is Jacqueline, an MSW student at Ana G. Mendez University’s Orlando Campus, where I am developing my skills in a bilingual and culturally responsive setting. I bring a solid background in healthcare and a heart for advocacy, recently earning my bachelor’s degree in social work and Adult Mental Health first aid certified.
I value cultural humility, active listening, empathy, and staying patient, dependable, and ethical as foundational pillars of my work. These traits help me meet clients where they are, offer personal centered care, and advocate for equitable treatment. On a lighter note, when I am not studying or advocating, you’ll probably find me breathing in the ocean air at the beach, traveling, or kicking back with family.
I am all about supporting your journey, whether that means navigating systems, advocating for resources, or just walking alongside you as you build on your strengths.
