My name is Catherine, and I am a master’s student in clinical social work. I bring a diverse background to my internship, having previously earned a degree in elementary education, worked in early childhood education, and had a career in accounting. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with people from varied backgrounds and navigate complex challenges with empathy and precision. 

Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I find balance and inspiration in hiking and spending time in nature. I enjoy practicing meditation, which helps me maintain mindfulness and emotional resilience. I also love spending quality time with my dog, Parker, who adds joy and energy to my daily life. 

As an intern at Kaafi Counseling, I am eager to integrate my past experiences and personal interests into my journey of becoming a well-rounded clinical social worker. My goal is to support individuals and families by providing compassionate care and fostering meaningful change.
