DEPRESSION THERAPY
· WEST PALM BEACH & TELEHEALTH ACROSS FLORIDA

When everything feels heavy,
you still are enough.

Depression drains energy, focus and joy, and it can make reaching out feel like one more impossible task. Our licensed therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioners make the next step simple, then walk the rest of the way with you.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Depression doesn’t always look like sadness.

For many people it shows up as exhaustion, irritability or feeling nothing at all. You may still be going to work, caring for family and showing up for everyone else while running on empty. That’s often called high-functioning depression, and it deserves care too.

When several of these last most days for two weeks or more, it’s time to talk to someone.

Loss of interest

Things you used to enjoy feel flat or pointless.

Constant fatigue

Tired even after sleep, small tasks feel huge.

Sleep changes

Trouble falling asleep, waking early, or sleeping too much.

Brain fog

Hard to focus, decide or remember.

Irritability

A shorter fuse with the people you love.

Appetite shifts

Eating much more or much less than usual.

Guilt or worthlessness

A harsh inner voice that says you're failing.

Pulling away

Canceling plans, avoiding calls, isolating.

21M

You are far from alone, and depression is treatable.

About 21 million U.S. adults experience a major depressive episode in a given year. With the right mix of therapy, skills and, when helpful, medication, most people feel meaningfully better.

HOW WE TREAT DEPRESSION

One practice. A full continuum of care.

Your plan is built around you, not a template. Because our therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioners work side by side, your care stays connected as your needs change.

Individual Therapy

Evidence-based talk therapy

Weekly sessions that target the thought patterns, habits and emotions that keep depression going, and help you rebuild energy, connection and meaning.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Psychiatric care, in house

Board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) evaluate whether medication could help, prescribe when appropriate and adjust with you over time.

COUPLES & FAMILY

Depression affects the whole household

Sessions that help partners and families understand what's happening, communicate better and support recovery without burning out.

GROUP PROGRAMS

Heal alongside others

Structured, clinician-led groups build skills and ease the isolation depression feeds on, often at a lower cost per session.

WHEN DEPRESSION HAS ROOTS

Trauma-informed & body-based care

Depression is often tied to past trauma, grief or chronic stress. EMDR and somatic approaches help your nervous system settle so change can hold.

MEASURED PROGRESS

You'll see what's changing

We use clinical assessments at intake and along the way, so you and your clinician can see what's improving and adjust your plan together.

Questions

Before you book

Do you accept insurance for depression treatment?

Yes. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare, and verify your benefits before your first appointment so you know your copay or deductible up front. Self-pay and HSA options are also available.

Yes. Secure video sessions are available to adults anywhere in Florida. Many clients start online because it’s easier on low-energy days, then mix in office visits in West Palm Beach.

Not always. Many people improve with therapy alone. For moderate to severe depression, therapy combined with medication often works best. Our nurse practitioners can evaluate whether medication fits your situation, and you always make the final decision.

It varies, but many clients notice meaningful change within 8 to 16 weekly sessions of structured therapy such as CBT. We track progress together so you can see how you’re doing.

Fit and method matter. We match you with a clinician based on your needs, use approaches with strong research support, measure progress, and can add medication or trauma-focused care if talk therapy alone isn’t enough.

They overlap and can feed each other. Part of your first session is sorting out what’s driving how you feel, so your plan targets the right thing.

TAKE THE NEXT STEP

You don’t have to feel ready. You just have to reach out.

Tell us a little about what’s going on and we’ll take it from there, usually within one business day.
